On Site 2019: Trestle Artists Exhibition & Auction
Join us for On Site 2019: Trestle Artists Exhibition & Auction on Friday, May 17th from 7-9pm at our main location, 850 3rd Ave, Suite 411, Brooklyn, NY.
On Site is Trestle Gallery’s annual group exhibition featuring artwork by our current studio members, artists-in-residence, and staff. This year’s exhibition will be guest-curated by 3walls, a curatorial collective that hosts alternative contemporary art salons. The opening night reception will include a silent auction of select artworks from the exhibition, live music, refreshments, and celebration!
Support emerging artists and curators by supporting Trestle
On Site 2019: Trestle Artists Exhibition & Auction is free and open to the public. The evening will feature a silent art auction (with works starting at 50% value) of select artworks created by the many talented artists making work at Trestle. There will also be specialty beverages, tasty samplings provided by local vendors, live music, wine, and over 60 artworks on view. In addition to participating in the auction, attendees will have the opportunity to meet the many artists, curators, and community members that make Trestle so special.
As an artist-run non-profit, Trestle Gallery’s overarching priority is to put artists first. In support of this goal, 70% of the proceeds of any artist’s work sold through the auction will go directly to the artist. 10% will go to the curators, and the remaining 20% will go right back into Trestle’s programming to provide more opportunities for artists, curators and residents.
