Forest Bath with Bibi Calderaro
Saturday, Oct. 21st, 11AM-1PM,  2 hour Introductory Walk in Green-wood Cemetery
*Sensory Walks are ways to get closer to nature and to oneself, slowing down in order to reinvent the relationships we have with ourselves and the environments we live in. These very gentle walks invite people outdoors to experience nature differently by engaging all 5 senses and discover some other senses that are left unprivileged. As part of our modern lives we have become used to relying mostly on vision, leaving other ways to engage with the world behind. These sensorial workshops provide a gradual immersion in nature based on the Asian practice of Shinrin Yoku, translated as Forest Bathing, among other influences. The walks vary in length and duration depending on the setting and the participants, with a minimum of 2-2.5 hours for best results. They will bring a longstanding sense of renewed balance, supporting and making space for creativity, health and wellbeing.
